Many traditional pelvic supports may not control undesired pelvic movement and tend to fix the pelvis in a static, non-functional position,
often promoting posterior pelvic tilt. The Hip Grip stabilizes the pelvis, dramatically increasing forward reach while allowing natural forward pelvic movement.
The increased pelvic support may also lessen tone, spasticity, abduction, and pelvic obliquity. The patented design of the Hip Grip uses elastomer springs
inside pivot brackets to enable users to lean forward with increased range of motion. It also allows them to return to an upright sitting position
with less effort and need for assistance.
