Bodypoint Names Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Signals Growth
Seattle, Washington (July 7, 2016) – Bodypoint, the global leader in innovative postural solutions, has named Nicole Muehlenhaus Vice President of Sales and Marketing, signaling its long-term commitment to the mobility industry.
In her new role, Muehlenhaus is responsible for growing the Bodypoint brand through clinical, technical and sales support, while developing new channels and markets. The company’s many patented products include the PivotFit™, a more anatomically-correct version of the traditional H-style harness; the award-winning Evoflex® a free-standing, pivoting belt that avoids contact with wheelchair spokes and gears; its quick-drying Aeromesh® fabric, used in bath belts, calf panels and more.
The promotion is the company’s most recent adaptation to changes in the global healthcare market. Related developments include the 2015 appointment of Matthew Kosh as President with David Hintzman as Chairman, the launch of the Bodypoint e-commerce site, and the hire of Product Manager Laurie Gelb to leverage market insights.
Muehlenhaus joined Bodypoint in 2014 as Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Previously, she was Director of VARILITE at Cascade Designs and Global Product Manager at Otto Bock Healthcare.
