Exciting changes have been taking place at Bodypoint!  In August 2020, we welcomed Gustave Moot as our Director of European Sales and established our first overseas office, Bodypoint Europe BV, under his leadership. 

A native of the Netherlands, Gustave spent 17 years in product management and marketing at Invacare in various local, European and global positions. With Gustave's expertise and Bodypoint Europe BV as a regional hub, we we can now respond faster to the needs of the local markets, better support strategic growth, and even help alleviate many of the regulatory and compliance challenges faced by our European partners.

For example, significant changes are coming this spring with the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) taking effect. Gustave has been working through the many details related to that transition and will be in touch with our European partners soon to discuss the impact to them, Bodypoint's role, and the associated timelines.

“The first months at Bodypoint have been an exciting journey getting to know the organization, our distributors and all the ins and outs of the products,” Gustave says. “It has been great learning experience working through the challenges of setting up a company with all the administrative processes and required legalities. With the set-up of the BV & increased local presence, I see tremendous potential for Bodypoint in Europe and really look forward working with our partners to grow our position.”
